The compensating choke plays an important role in many high-power industrial applications with reactive power compensation. Due to the high number of devices installed every year and EU’s efforts reduce energy demands our society, it is advisable maximize efficiency these devices. non-linearity magnetic core, requirement a linear operating characteristic, presence distributed air gap, this difficult task, various technical challenges.
